1. How can we help all students become self-directed learners with the ability to make sound decisions about how they complete project tasks?

- Make sure we are catering to all ability levels

- Modify assignments for special learners so they feel successful

- Rubrics and checklists are helpful

- Meet with the special needs children and give them goals (also work with the EC staff to accomodate where neccessary)

- Designing our projects from the beginning with self-direction in mind
